Intro Post

This is it, I have officially started a blog. I want to thank my cousin Jean for giving me a reason. I love to write and have been dying for something to write about that I felt was worthwhile.

Jean has decided that instead of choosing way too many resolutions to start all at the beginning of 2015, she is going to choose 12 resolutions and assign one to each month of the year. I think it is brilliant. I, like so many others, have so much I want to do to better myself. Whether it be learning something new, getting healthy, finally, breaking bad habits, the list just goes on and on.

When you are trying to lose weight, one of the most frequent tips I hear is to set attainable goals. Makes sense doesn’t it? Instead of saying I am going to lose 100 pounds, you say I am going to lose 10 pounds and it does not feel so overwhelming. 12 mini resolutions, I love it. My work shared a great article on Facebook about Making Your New Years Resolutions Stick. Read it if you have the time, it's pretty interesting.

You can check out what Jean’s doing here or you can click on my New Year All Year Challenge tab at the top to see what the goals will be. I will do a weekly check in here on my blog to show where I’m at and will most likely link to Jean’s blog so you can see how she’s doing!

I will also be attempting the 2015 Reading Challenge. 50 categories, 52 books. Can I read a book a week? I have no idea but I am certainly going to try! You can check out the categories here or you can click on my 2015 Reading Challenge tab at the top. I will also do a weekly post on the reading challenge to let you know my thoughts and feelings on the book I just read, and also to let you know which one I will be reading in the upcoming week.

My big challenge for the year though? I want to kick this social anxiety crap in the butt. I'm done not living or experiencing my life. It will be so!

So there you have it, I am now a blogger. Maybe I can’t call myself a blogger yet because I only have one post but I don’t care! I’m a blogger! :-D

See you soon!
